Technical Facilities

The equipment at The Classical Recording Company has been chosen for two main reasons – audio quality and reliability – and all our equipment is regularly checked and maintained to ensure it is in pristine condition. Some items such as the Monitoring and Output Unit have been custom built as there was no commercially available equivalent – others like our “Damascus” mic pre-amp and A-D converters are made by audio specialists working closely with us from the early development stages. We also have a selection of vintage analogue and digital equipment allowing us to replay many archival formats that are now obsolete.
