Recording Sessions for Broadcast

In an era when increasing numbers of radio programmes are made as co-productions with record companies or other promoters, The Classical Recording Company is ideally placed to provide facilities suited to both applications.

For purely broadcast sessions our engineers and producers are fully aware of the distinction between broadcast and commercial sessions – often less balance time and more rigid time constraints, coupled with the sense of performance always being more important than absolute accuracy.

For split use sessions, we can provide standard bit-rate recordings for broadcast use and high bit-rate recordings for commercial use. Our carry-in session rig has all the video and talk-back facilities of a normal studio and we can either provide a complete crew or work in conjunction with BBC studio managers and/or producers.
